Tournament Details

The VGT Royalwood Amateur is dated Thursday, May 16th and is an 18-Hole stroke play Championship for male and female amateurs Flight A and B and Senior Amateurs (55+years).

Full Field Size: 36 players

Amateur Payout: Top Gross Scores in SENIOR FLIGHT win prizes. The top Gross and Net scores in Flight A & B win prizes.

Priority

Priority will be given to VGT Members. Non-members are eligible to play when field size is not full at time of Registration Deadline.

Entry Fee & Registration:

Amateur Member: $105 plus GST
Amateur Non-Member: $140 plus GST

Tee times start at approximately 12:00 PM with final Tee-time at around 2PM.

Order of Merit (OOM) points will be awarded in each category of membership:
Flight A & B - Net; Senior: Gross.

Amateur OOM’s will be based on the following point system for this event:

1st Place: 1500 pts 11th place: 200 pts
2nd Place: 1100 pts 12th place: 180 pts
3rd Place: 900 pts 13th place: 160 pts
4th Place: 800 pts 14th place: 140 pts
5th Place: 700 pts 15th place: 120 pts
6th Place: 600 pts 16th place: 100 pts
7th Place: 500 pts 17th place: 80 pts
8th Place: 400 pts 18th place: 60 pts
9th Place: 300 pts 19th place: 40 pts
10th Place: 250 pts 20th place: 20 pts

From Vancouver, head East on #1 TransCanada Highway for 80km. Take a right on exit 109 (Yale Road West). Turn immediately right onto the frontage road that parallels the highway; the entrance is just after the large sign. Turn left and you are there.
